WATCH RONALD COHEN READ FROM HIS “BIBLIOGRAPHY OF THE WRITINGS OF SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL”

BOOK #24 IN OUR '40TH READINGS AT CHARTWELL BOOKSELLERS' VIDEO SERIES

Published in 2006, RONALD I. COHEN’s BIBLIOGRAPHY OF THE WRITINGS OF SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL is, from our bookish perspective, the single most impressive and important feat of Churchillian scholarship produced during the store’s lifetime; a massive, meticulous, three-volume accounting of Churchill’s output as a writer.

It is Book #24 in our 40TH READINGS AT CHARTWELL BOOKSELLERS video series, as read by the bibliographer himself: RONALD COHEN.

RONALD I. COHEN, a native of Montreal, Canada, witnessed Winston Churchill’s 1965 State Funeral as a young bystander in Parliament Square. This inspired him to build one of the most complete collections of Churchill editions ever assembled and, ultimately, to write the definitive Churchill bibliography. Mr. Cohen holds an A.B. (cum laude) from Harvard University and a B.C.L. (First Class Honours) from McGill University. He is a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) “for services to British history,” and was named to the Order of Canada “for his dedication to promoting and preserving literary and cultural heritage in Canada and abroad.”

40TH READINGS AT CHARTWELL BOOKSELLERS
