WATCH BECKY ANN BAKER READ “WORKING WITH WINSTON” BY CITA STELZER

BOOK #37 IN OUR '40TH READINGS AT CHARTWELL BOOKSELLERS' VIDEO SERIES

Published in 2019, WORKING WITH WINSTON: The Unsung Women Behind Britain’s Greatest Statesman, by CITA STELZER, is the only book to explore the lives and careers of Winston Churchill’s all-female “hidden army” of personal secretaries, extraordinarily capable women who, like their boss, were virtually never off-duty.

We dedicate this reading to Churchill’s last living personal secretary, CECILY “CHIPS” GEMMELL, a great friend of Chartwell Booksellers, who celebrates her 95th Birthday as we release this video, on Christmas Day, 2023. And makes a cameo appearance here. Don’t miss it.

WORKING WITH WINSTON is Book #37 in our 40TH READINGS AT CHARTWELL BOOKSELLERS video series, as read by the esteemed actor: BECKY ANN BAKER.
