”John G. Winant (left) and Winston Churchill sit together on a light railway car enroute to an inspection of coastal defenses in southeast England during World War II, while Winant was U.S. Ambassador to the Court of St. James and Churchill was British Prime Minister. Winant shot himself to death at his concord, N.H. home, Dr. Clarence E. Butterfield, reported Nov. 3.”
