This marvelous volume of tributes from 20 friends and colleagues was published on Churchill’s 80th birthday in 1954, including Anthony Eden, Clement Attlee, Bernard Baruch and Violet Bonham-Carter. The book was issued with a wrap-around greeting card that invited the reader to “Send A Birthday Greeting to Winston Churchill for His Eightieth Birthday.”
This is a very good copy, in an unclipped dust jacket but without the card. The jacket has browned a bit along the spine. The contents are fine, with foxing to the fore-edges..
