This is a very good First Edition copy, without dust jacket, of the updated World War I edition of the very first Churchill biography ever published, originally issued by author, A. MacCallum Scott, in 1905 under the title: WINSTON SPENCER CHURCHILL. New material included a defense of Churchill’s World War I Dardanelles strategy.
The cloth here has faded along the spine but the binding remains square and tight. The contents are fine, with an erased former-owner name, dated 1924, on the front free endpaper.
