Description

This is a very good copy of the First American edition without dust jacket. The cloth cover is lightly soiled; and there is some chipping and fraying at the corners and at the head and tail of the spine; else fine. A previous owners name and a date are written in ink on the front free endpaper; the interior pages are age-toned and dried out; a few pages are torn at the foredges; contents fine. This account of the Boer conflict in South Africa was translated from the Dutch edition.
