Description
This is a very good copy of the First American edition without dust jacket. The book has been rebound and given a new paper spine label and endpapers. The title page and frontispiece have been replaced with facsimiles. Foxed throughout, mostly light. A standard source on the Army of the Potomac written by the surgeon of the 77th Regiment New York Volunteers; this edition and the subsequent 1867 edition are scarce.
