Winston Churchill’s final World War II-era magazine article written as a civilian. The editors here note that, “This article was prepared before the outbreak of the hostilities in Europe and, of course, before the author became Britain’s First Lord of the Admiralty.” The essay was subsequently collected in the book, PEACE AS PROCESS. This is a very good copy of a very rare periodical, bright and clean, with some dampstaining evident across the upper third of the magazine, else fine.
