Description

This is a very good copy of the First American edition in a clipped dust jacket that has a few small pieces missing from the corners, top edge; now protected by mylar cover. Contents fine.

After returning from exile in Elba in 1815 and reclaiming his position as Emperor, Napoleon engaged a military campaign that would eventually lead to his defeat at Wellington. Saunders traces Napoleon’s almost inevitable downfall, which was largely due to erroneous assumptions and underestimation of his opponents, especially the British led by Wellington.
