A limited number of slipcased “HAT BOXES” were issued by Knopf on the occasion of the publication of LOOK, I MADE A HAT: Collected Lyrics (1981-2011), the companion volume to FINISHING THE HAT: Collected Lyrics (1954-1981).
This HAT BOX has been signed on the slipcase by Stephen Sondheim in black ink. It contains mint dust jacketed First Edition copies of both volumes; each volume signed in ink by Mr. Sondheim on their respective half-title pages. Laid-in also is an invitation to the 2010 publishing party for FINISHING THE HAT held at Chartwell Booksellers.
