Secret Session Speeches, the seventh and final volume of Churchill’s collected World War II speeches, contains six declassified orations first delivered by Churchill in secret wartime sessions of the House of Commons. Texts are not always verbatim transcripts. The initial speech is a partial excerpt reproduced in typescript from Churchill’s original pages. The American issue preceded the English and is the true first.

The true first edition: the American preceded the English. Publishes the six WW2 speeches delivered by Churchill in secret session of the House of Commons, the first speech being partially reproduced from the original typescript. Internally clean, dull gilt spine/board lettering are partly blackened as usual. The jacket is clean and unclipped, but has 1/8″ pieces missing at spinetips and a small triangular seciton missing at upper left front face. Overall: VG+/vg.
