Avery good First Edition copy, in an unclipped dust jacket, of this rare volume of short stories by Saturday Evening Post mystery writer Cohen, whose fictional creation, Jim Hanvey, was one of the first “private eyes” in literature.
The jacket has very fractional losses at the spine head and corners, else fine. The book, with its gilt-embossed skull on bright purple cloth, is virtually mint, with a tiny and quite elegant vintage bookplate on the front pastedown and a miniscule bookshop plate on the rear pastedown.
