Typed paper caption on verso, dated January 5, 1953, reads:
“Baggage of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Mrs. Churchill is placed on a sidewalk in front of Bernard Baruch’s home at 4 East 66th Street, New York, Jan. 5, before being carried into the house. The Churchills, who arrived earlier in the day aboard the liner Queen Mary, will be Baruch’s house guests during their stay in New York.”
The photograph is in very good condition with very light creasing. The verso is ink-stamped: “Wide World Photos.”
