This original cartoon from Punch Magazine, dated February 3, 1926, is in very good condition. The caption reads:
“The Bird of France (seeing Mr. Churchill adorned with plumes of the Bersagluri). ‘Let’s hope he won’t want any more cock-feathers for a bit.’”
Drawn by the noted political cartoonist, L. Raven-Hill, who also illustrated STALKY AND CO. for Rudyard Kipling and KIPPS for H.G. Wells.
