Description

This original cartoon from the British humor magazine Punch, dated July 20, 1910, is in very good condition. The caption reads:
“Prime Minister (shelving Woman’s Suffrage Bill) ‘Well gentlemen, now that your individual consciences have had their fling, let’s get to work again.’”
It was drawn by the noted political cartoonist, L. Raven-Hill, who also illustrated STALKY AND CO. for Rudyard Kipling and KIPPS for H.G. Wells.
