This is a very good copy of the First American edition without dust jacket as issued. The gilt lettering on the spine is bright. The corners and head and tail of the spine are bumped and frayed; the boards are a bit scuffed and spotted; else fine. The volume has deckle edged paper. The pages are age-toned; one page is torn on the bottom corner, not affecting the text; contents fine.
