Description
A very good copy in the original vellum boards with O’Neill’s facsimile signature in gilt on the frontis. Absent the black publisher’s slipcase, but with the “working notes and extracts from a fragmentary work diary” facsimile pages laid-into the purpose-built rear pocket.
Number 272 of 550 copies, signed by Eugene O’Neill on the collophon page.
The vellum is very modestly yellowed with age, as per usual, slightly more so along the spine; the black leather spine label with gilt lettering is intact, with one tiny chip. The contents are fine, with light toning to the endpapers in the contour of the rear pocket.
A lovely book in lovely condition overall.
