Description
A very good copy of the First American edition signed by the author in ink on the front free endpaper. The unclipped dust jacket is a bit edge-toned and modestly faded at the spine, with tiny edge-chips and fractional losses at the head, tail and folds of the spine and around the edges and flap folds. The is a faint glue remnant on the rear free endpaper. The elaborate bookplate of the notorious Broadway singer/actress Libby Holman [Reynolds] is affixed to the front endpaper.
