Moffat, an adventurous Scottish lady, arrived from the Klondike on 20 September, 1899; the Boer War began 11 October and Kimberley was besieged by the Boers three days later. Limited to 470 cloth copies. A very good copy, corners slightly bumped, in dust jacket with somewhat worn edges & corners.
