The first reissue ever of the renowned RECIPES FROM NO. 10, written by the Churchill family’s revered chef during the war and after, Georgina Landemare, who gave up a booming career as London’s top society caterer to cook for Winston Churchill after his return as First Lord of the Admiralty. She then followed Churchill, as Prime Minister, to No. 10, and remained with the family until Sir Winston’s retirement as P.M. in 1955. Her cookbook was first published in 1958. It has now returned to print in this small, beautiful hardcover edition from the Imperial War Museums, without a dust jacket, as issued.
This is a very good copy, with a crunched upper right corner.
