Description

A collection of largely critical essays that purport to explain Churchill’s plummet in popularity at home during the war and after. Published in the UK under the title: CHURCHILL IN HIS TIME: A Study in a Reputation, 1939-1945. Dismissed by the Times Literary Supplement as “journalistic rubbish,” it is nevertheless not without some interest. This is a very good copy of the First American edition in a price-clipped dust jacket. The contents are fine.
