The true first edition, gorgeously rebound in full burgundy pebble-grain morocco, profusely ornamented in gilt on the covers, front and rear, and on the spine in six compartments with raised bands. The upper fore-edge is gilded, and the inner panels are leather-edged and gilt-ornamented over marbled endpapers that have some edge-transfer from the leather. Else fine.
