This is a very good copy of the First English edition without dust jacket as issued. The cover has a lovely gilt embossed design. The spine has been rebacked; the spine and cover edges are sunned; the corners are rubbed; the boards have light stains; else fine. The pages have scattered foxing throughout; there is a previous owner’s bookplate on front paste-down and an original invoice laid in at the front; contents fine.
