MOVING CHURCHILL #10: Our Farewell Event & You’re Invited

Hard as it is to believe, after 43 years and literally hundreds of events, we are mounting our farewell performance here at Park Avenue Plaza.

Please join us THURSDAY, MAY 14, from 5:30-7:30pm for a champagne conversation with our proprietor, Barry Singer, and Dr. Adam Howard, Executive Director of the International Churchill Society, which is graciously co-hosting this evening.

The proceedings will be recorded live for the ICS podcast, The End of the Beginning.

Come toast Chartwell Booksellers at 55 East 52nd Street one final time before we move on, after June 30.

Move #10
2 SUSSEX SQUARE

In late-1919, Clementine Churchill found her family a London home of their own once more, at
No. 2 Sussex Square, north of Hyde Park. The house was large enough to accommodate the Churchills comfortably and also included a mews building at the back that became a work and painting studio for Winston.

Still more to come.

With our thanks and best wishes,
