Description
This is a very good copy of the Second Impression of the First English edition, in an unclipped dust jacket that has darkened a bit with age but is in marvelous condition overall, just lightly fraying at the spine head and front corners. The cloth is fresh and the contents are fine, with a discreet, vintage ink inscription (dated “1942”) on the front free pastedown. The half-title page is tanned and there is faint scattered foxing to the prelims and fore-edges only, but the book is otherwise pristine, seemingly unopened.
Rarely seen, and very rare thus.
