A very good copy of the First French Edition in dust jacket, virtually mint, save for a previous owner’s name discreetly inked on the front free endpaper, along with the publisher’s numeric ink stamp. A New Yorker clipping about Claude Lévi-Strauss hand-dated Feb. 2, 1968 is tipped onto the rear free endpaper and an advertisement for The Savage Mind clipped from the NY Times is also loosely laid-in at the rear.
