Charming memoir in two volumes by a venerable American journalist of the era, with a chapter in the first volume about Randolph Churchill and in the second about Winston, both featuring references to Winston, including many eyewitness anecdotes and firsthand quotations. This is a very good set comprising the First American edition of Volume One and the First English edition of the “Second Series,” which was Volume Two. Cloth crisp and clean, contents fine.
