This is an unusually intact copy of a scarce Word War II regimental class book for the U.S. Army 11th Airborne Division at Camp Polk, Louisiana. Undated but the text covers division history to January 1944. Photos of training exercises and camp life are featured primarily. Commanding officers are individually pictured but servicemen are shown in unlisted group company photos (as opposed to full yearbook style individual photo publications issued for other Army units during the war).

Pictured are the 187th Glider Infantry Regiment and 188th Glider Infantry (with their respective Headquarters Company, Service Company, Medical Detachment, 1st Battalion Headquarters and Companies A-C, 2nd Battalion Headquarters and Companies E-G), and the varying company partitions of the 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment, the 674th and 675th Glider Field Artillery Battalions, the 457th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion, the 127th Airborne Engineer Battalion, the 152nd Airborne Antiaircraft Battalion, the 221st Medical Company, the 408th Quartermaster Company, the 511th Signal Company, and the 711th Ordnance Company.

Aside from some wear along the front spine edge, this oblong volume is virtually mint, and very rare thus.
